Pendulum’s GLP-1 Probiotic page presents a more specific organism record than a list of species alone. Its pictured facts panel includes two strain codes, an AFU quantity and an inulin amount. Reading those details carefully also reveals what the panel does not identify, rather than turning specificity into an automatic endorsement.

This review concerns the current GLP-1 Probiotic page and its public product variants, not every Pendulum preparation. The comparison places it beside a different multi-organism product and a general digestive probiotic. No supplement was purchased, independently assayed or recommended for an individual during this review.

Keep this distinction in view

The current three-organism product, its consumer survey and a separate five-organism trial must stay separate.

Use the actual pictured record

The official facts image lists one capsule and thirty servings, a probiotic blend of 500 million AFU, and chicory inulin 211 mg. Other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose and silica. The page also describes a packaging transition as a new appearance with the same formula. That is a seller statement about continuity, not authentication of an actual bottle or a guarantee about which artwork will arrive. The finished-formula guide treats the current panel as a dated record that can be compared with a paper’s preparation description. It does not treat a familiar package as a complete chain of evidence.

Two codes should not become three complete identities

The inspected panel gives Clostridium butyricum WB-STR-0006 and Akkermansia muciniphila WB-STR-0001. Bifidobacterium infantis appears without a visible strain code. Repeating the first two codes is useful; supplying an inferred third one would change the source. NIH explains why strain-level identification matters to interpreting probiotic evidence. The organism-name guide also separates this question from taxonomic renaming. A name shared with another preparation cannot establish that the preparations contain the same strain, amount or combination. Documentation from the manufacturer would be needed to connect an omitted identifier to a particular research record. NIH

The blend quantity has a stated unit and limited allocation

The 500 million AFU line applies to the combined probiotic blend, not to each of the three listed organisms separately. The reviewed image does not assign a share to each name. Its AFU declaration also cannot be numerically compared with Culturelle’s CFU quantity as if the methods were a single scale. The unit discussion describes why assay method and measurement basis matter, without constructing a conversion. Refrigeration language on this image describes the manufacturer’s handling recommendation for optimal quality; it does not establish that the publication inspected transport temperatures or viable organisms in a delivered capsule.

The consumer survey answers a consumer-report question

The product page attributes craving figures to a six-week consumer survey of 274 people: 91 percent reporting reduced overall cravings and 88 percent fewer sugar cravings. These are the seller’s reports, not results independently reproduced by this publication. The displayed summary is not a randomized comparison, and the percentages do not become proof of a change in a laboratory GLP-1 measure or a prescription outcome. The survey-versus-trial guide keeps the question asked and the method used beside the figure. A response about cravings cannot silently become evidence for weight loss, relief of medication adverse effects or a guaranteed individual experience.

A different Pendulum trial remains a different preparation

The 2020 primary paper describes a twelve-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study with 76 participants who had type 2 diabetes. It evaluated WBF-010 and WBF-011; the latter contained five organisms plus inulin. That differs from the current three-organism retail GLP-1 panel. Its glucose-related endpoints and treatment context should not be relabeled as results for this current bottle. This distinction does not assert that no relevant research could exist. It states what the reviewed paper and current panel establish, and what they do not connect. The CoreAge review likewise cannot borrow results through overlapping organism names.

Keep the recurring and one-time prices distinct

The fresh public variant response lists a one-month option at $64 with a recurring thirty-day plan, and a three-month option at $173 with a recurring ninety-day plan. A separate one-time purchase is $89. The page advertises free subscription shipping; the one-time delivered total, including any tax or shipping, was not tested. The terms state that membership cancellation requests must arrive by the Sunday before the next charge date, alongside account and contact routes. First-order cancellation and shipped-order rules also differ. The variant record is an observation of advertised choices, not proof that an order was accepted or that the displayed amount includes every charge for a particular address. A cancellation headline alone should not be interpreted as proof that a charge already processed will be refunded.

The guarantee has conditions, not a clinical purpose

The fresh terms say physical returns are not accepted. Their GLP-1 Probiotic guarantee is limited to a first purchase, has a thirty-day period beginning on receipt, conditions eligibility on directed use across that period, and allows a claim up to fourteen days after it ends. Shipping and handling are excluded; the text addresses an initial item containing more than a month’s supply. These are merchant conditions, not advice to continue a product, tolerate symptoms or delay medical review. The fixed reader keeps evidence questions separate from those commercial clocks. The seller states the product contains no GLP-1 and is not a GLP-1 agonist drug; prescribed care cannot be replaced by its name. Product boundary
